We Need Your Help to Fight Arthritis
46 million reasons to... LIVE
I am one of the 46 million people who suffer from arthritis... one of 2.1 million who suffer from rheumatoid arthritis. Having been diagnosed in August of 2006, I quickly lost all hope of living a normal life. But I have a lot of reasons to keep fighting - and Angie's Angels represents a lot of those reasons. My husband who has helped me every day, my parents who have supported me, and my friends who showed up to the 2006 Arlington Walk and blew up balloons, handed out t-shirts, raised money, and walked to support me. These are my angels who have given me the strength to fight and continue to live.
We are taking on a challenge to make a difference in our community by participating in the Arthritis Foundation's Arthritis Walk. Thousands of people across the nation are joining together this Spring in the quest for a cure. The Arthritis Walk will be led by inspirational men, women and children who have arthritis. They'll be leading the way wearing special blue honoree hats to show that they are taking control of their arthritis.
Team participation is FUN and EASY! A team is a group of ten or more walkers joining together to raise money to fight arthritis. We hope you will help too!
